Top Ten Trigger Points
Trigger Points can present themselves as referred patterns of sensation such as a sharp pain,
dull ache, tingling, pins and needles, hot or cold, as well as can create symptoms such as nausea,
ear ache, equilibrium disturbance, or blurred vision. These small, hyperirritable sites in the muscle
tissue sometimes refer pain to other locations as in headaches or sciatica.

Top Ten Trigger Points for Orthopedic Conditions
(7 CE Hours)
Instructor: Eric Stephenson, LMT
Hours: 9:30 am-5:30 pm Fri
$150 (2 weeks prior to the class)
$195 thereafter (Min. Dep $100)
This class can be combined with 21 Deep Tissue Techniques.
This course works with common orthopedic conditions (frozen shoulder, back strains,
plantar fasciitis and more) to observe agonist/antagonist muscle relationships, focusing
on the cause rather than the effect of pain. By learning to work with trigger points of facilitated
(shortened) musculature, the opposing inhibited (lengthened) musculature can be released, alleviating
the presenting location of pain.
Learn palpation and communication skills to work "with" a client's trigger points
rather than "on" them.
