Continuing Education Requirements

Total of 25 Continuing Education Hours required per biennium

12 live classroom (Specific to massage)
6 general subject matter
Live Classroom Hours
At least 12 CE’s shall be taken in a face-to-face setting, which includes a demonstration &/or actual
hands-on activities. (All classes at Educating Hands are hands-on)
These courses must be approved and relate to massage modalities.
(Educating Hands classes are NCBTMB & Florida approved)
Therapists may substitute up to 6 hours of pro bono (free) services for equal amount of live
classroom hours. You must first contact the Board office for forms. You must have approval
PRIOR to service and the clients must meet Federal standards of need.
(LMT’s may not give free massages to existing clients who do not qualify for this option)
