HAWAIIAN LOMILOMI MASSAGE - LEVELS 1 & 2

These two 16-hour courses provide a basic foundation for the traditional healing art of Sacred Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Temple style.

Participants will learn in detail the essence of this Hawaiian Temple style of bodywork, including:

• The unique art of the Hawaiian system, the holistic effects in 'Body-Mind-Spirit,' and how to use LomiLomi both in their personal lives and in their professional practice
  
  
• The healing uses of the forearm, hands and elbows in a full body massage, and how to integrate the Hawaiian Lomilomi energy/dance into their everyday massages, using the protocols in conjunction with Swedish, deep tissue massage, and/or with any other hands-on modality they know
  
  
• The seven shamanic principles and their multi-dimensional effects
  
  
• The principles, precautions, indications and contraindications of Lomilomi massage, and the use of hands and elbows on lomi acu-points
  
  
• How to use LomiLomi as another useful bodywork techniques and learn the proper hand placement, energy systems/PONO balancing and the importance of working with the MANA life energy, your ALOHA healing intention and unconditional love
  
  
• How to perform a 1 1/2 - 2 hours therapeutic full body Hawaiian massage, and to apply this multidimensional bodywork to restore, balance, and help their clients better manage their anxiety, depression, stress and/or other conditions of our modern lifestyle
  
  HAWAIIAN LOMILOMI MASSAGE - LEVEL 1 – THE BACK PROTOCOL

  COST: $300.00 (2 weeks prior), $350 thereafter

  Introduction to the background, history and theory of the Art of Hawaiian Temple bodywork and its development as part of Hawaiian culture. Students will learn and practice selected hula movements, back LomiLomi protocols, shamanic techniques, and Lomi sequences which include:
  
  

  • Shamanic Principles
  • Introduction to Ho’oponopono
  • The Ka Lele flight dance
  • Opening and closing rituals
  • Hamo anointing ritual
  • Back protocol hands-on practice
    
  • Basic principles of movement, touch techniques and selected sequences for the back position demonstration
    
    

    HAWAIIAN LOMILOMI MASSAGE - LEVEL 2 – FRONT POSITION, AND BACK AND FRONT PROTOCOLS INTEGRATION

    COST: $300.00 (2 weeks prior), $350 thereafter

    WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN LEVEL 2:
    
    

    • Basic principles of movement, touch techniques and selected sequences for the front position
    • Students will learn how to move their body and the client’s body at the same time
    • Front and back integration- hands-on practice
    • Closing ritual
      
      

      This LomiLomi class is appropriate for:
      Massage therapists, bodyworkers, massage students, and for those new to holistic healing arts. All are welcome.
      
      

      This Course Includes:
      NCBTMB and Florida State continuing education credits.
