Kathie Manderbach, Professional Clinic Director Kathie comes to Educating Hands with 25 years experience in sales and marketing from the banking and manufacturing sectors as well as condominium management. Committed to a positive life change, Kathie decided to move to Florida from New York in 1973. She has now dedicated herself fully to living her life's work at the Educating Hands Professional Clinic by helping others improve their own lives through massage. Understanding the wide array of massage modalities offered at our Professional Clinic, Kathie is highly qualified to helping meet the individual needs of all our clients. Some of her hobbies include swimming, dancing and other physical activities.

Richard Schekter*, L.M.T., N.C.T.M.B. Richard had a career as a Marine Biologist/Oceanographer interrupted by a long series of health problems and illnesses. His return to robust health and continuing inspiration involves the give and take of massage and bodywork, with a focus on wellness. In Richard's highly adaptable approach he meets each of his clients exactly as they are, then tries to provide something they can use. His range of skills includes light touch and energy therapies, as well as Deep Tissue Massage. Richard's advanced training includes Neuromuscular Therapy, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue and Connective Tissue Massage, Human Anatomy, Reflexology, and Reiki. John Russell L.M.T., N.C.T.M.B., C.N.M.T A Licensed Massage Therapist since 1995, John has advanced training certifications in Neuromuscular Therapy utilizing Trigger Points, as well as Deep Massage techniques. He specializes in supporting clients to overcome pain problems, ranging from headaches, neck and back pain, accident-related injuries, as well as sports massage for injury rehabilitation and prevention. Plenty of time is left for Swedish relaxation massages on regular stressed-out people! John will also frequently be found giving Chair Massages at corporate events, health fairs and charity functions. In the interest of providing excellent health care service for her clients, Michele pursues a career as a dedicated life long learner. She has advanced training and certifications in Active Isolated Stretching, Medical Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, SportsMassage, Swedish Massage, MotherMassage ®, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Electrical Therapeutic Point Stimulation, and Pilates. Katia Yachmann, L.M.T., N.C.T.M.B. A native of Brazil, Katia Yachmann is a natural born caregiver with a passion for Oriental Bodywork specializing in Bare Foot Shiatsu and Traditional Thai Massage. By working and training with the best professionals in the field Katia has developed her own unique style of Bodywork. Her vast array of massage modalities ranges from the very indulging Swedish Massage to the most eccentric Bamboo Massage. Katia combines some of her techniques with Electrical Point Therapeutic Stimulation, Chinese Cupping, Hot Stones and Essential Oils to give her clients an unforgettable experience. She is also highly recommended for treatments post surgery and rehabilitation. Besides her very successful private practice, she is also the lead therapist and trainer at one of the most exclusive spas in the country.
